Groups
Coffee Mornings
On the first Wednesday of each month (except school holidays) from 10.30am, we hold informal daytime coffee-and-chat mornings. They are held at Bello’s Café in Westfield Plaza, Burwood, which is situated on ground level near the Burwood Road entrance and faces onto Burwood Road. We are usually the only group of 4 - 5 people there, and there are usually books on the table.
Coffee Mornings are currenty suspended for the time being.
Drama Classes
Currently on hold.
ASTeen
ASTeen is a social group for young people, aged 13
years and over, with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Social outings are arranged nearly every fortnight and many
interesting activities are planned by parents of youngsters
in the group.
New members, girls and boys, are always welcome
to come along to the outings. The calendar of events is organised
well in advance for the year so it is easy to plan for outings.

Maverick Mobile Disco at the Richmond
Club
Where: Richmond Club, cnr Francis & East Market
Sts Richmond
When: Last Friday of every month, starting Friday 23
Feb
Time: 7pm to approx. 10pm. Refreshments available within
the club.
Entry Cost: $5 (carers are free)
Who is it for: People with disabilities. Carers must
remain at the venue.
Please note: The dates for the discos can change at very
short notice.
Always check prior to the date to ensure the disco is still
going ahead.
Social Group for Young Adults (aged 18 years
and over)
Meets fortnightly on Mondays from 7.00pm - 9.00pm
A social club has been set up for young adults (18 years
and over) who have Asperger's or similar communication difficulties.
You are invited to come along and share experiences with
other people who are keen to make new friends. There will
be opportunities to sit back and chat amongst friendly people,
and have a drink or a bite to eat. There will also be organised
activities and events.
There will be a facilitator at the meetings to help everyone
get along and organise what people want to do. Please bring
some ID with your address on it.
We participate in a varied range of activities, such as:
- Guest speakers
- Movies
- Ten pin bowling
- Games nights
- Barbecues
